The project sprouted from the similarities that were found in the work of Margherita Pozzali and myself. We took our common love for natural materials as a starting ground for new objects, interesting discussions, wonder and experimentation. It’s a reflection on the relationship between craft objects and the natural world. Nature is the source for materials and decorative motifs within the crafts. I have reflected on this relationship. Which materials are being used or left alone? How do we try to use nature for objects? I elaborated on the traditions by using the actual materials I could find as a decoration in an intuitive way. It’s no longer a depiction, the element is present in all its tactility.
